Service Agreement
Clear terms for author services.
This Service Agreement outlines the terms under which FSFP provides professional author services and book-production support to independent authors.
Overview
FSFP services are currently provided personally by Christoffer Vuolo Junros during an initial, non-VAT-registered operating phase. Engagement of FSFP and payment for services constitutes acceptance of this Service Agreement and its terms.
1. Scope of Services
FSFP provides clearly defined author services as outlined and agreed upon prior to payment. All services are limited to the specific scope described in the agreed package or service description. Any work requested outside the agreed scope will require separate discussion, approval, and, where applicable, additional fees before proceeding.
2. Ownership & Rights
The author remains the sole owner of their work at all times. FSFP makes no claim to copyrights, royalties, publishing rights, distribution rights, or account control. Engaging FSFP does not transfer ownership, control, or authorship in any form.
3. Role of FSFP
FSFP acts as an independent author-services studio. FSFP may produce and release its own titles, while client work is limited to professional support services for independent authors.
For client projects, FSFP does not act as a publisher of record, manage retailer or distribution accounts, or represent authors to third parties. The author remains fully responsible for publication, distribution, pricing, and account ownership for their work.
4. Delivery & Timeline
Services are delivered in accordance with the agreed scope and timeline, as outlined before work begins. Timelines may vary depending on project complexity, responsiveness from the author, and revision requirements within the agreed scope. FSFP will communicate clearly if adjustments to timing are required.
5. Revisions & Feedback
Where applicable, services may include a limited number of revisions as specified in the service description. Additional revisions or changes outside the agreed scope may require additional fees and/or timeline adjustments.
6. No Guarantees
FSFP does not guarantee book sales, rankings, reviews, or commercial performance. Outcomes depend on multiple factors outside FSFP's control, including market conditions, platform algorithms, pricing decisions, book quality, genre fit, and author-led marketing efforts.
7. Payments
All services are provided on a fixed-price basis. Payment is required in full before work begins, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include credit/debit card and bank transfer. Invoices are issued without VAT in accordance with Swedish tax regulations applicable to the current operating phase.
8. Refunds
Refunds are handled in accordance with FSFP's published Refund Policy. In summary: full refunds are available if cancellation is requested before work begins; payments are non-refundable once work has started; if FSFP cannot deliver the agreed service, a full or partial refund will be issued, depending on the scope completed.
9. Professional Conduct
FSFP is committed to providing services with care, discretion, and professional standards. FSFP likewise expects respectful, timely communication from authors to ensure an effective, constructive working relationship.
10. Agreement
By proceeding with FSFP services, the author acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Service Agreement in full. FSFP's role is to provide professional author support, not to assume control over the work or its outcomes.
11. Legal Status
Services are provided personally by Christoffer Vuolo Junros. At this stage, FSFP operates as a hobbyverksamhet under Swedish tax law and is not subject to VAT. Should FSFP transition into a registered business entity in the future, this agreement may be updated accordingly.
12. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of Sweden. Nothing in this agreement limits any mandatory rights the author may have under applicable consumer protection laws. This agreement exists to ensure clarity, trust, and a smooth working relationship for both parties.
